The Heart of My Art:
I want my art to be a focal point in the room it calls home. My pieces are filled with bold, bright, and rich tones, blending vivid colors and layered textures to create work that speaks volumes. While I don’t limit myself to a specific style, I would describe my art as contemporary pop art surrealism. I layer imagery, themes, and textures, weaving playful elements into pieces that also explore deeper, darker themes.
Common threads in my personal work include animals, self-exploration, and feminism. My art is a visual dialogue between my internal world and the outside world, a reflection of dreams, fantasies, and psychological landscapes that evolve as I do.
I’m obsessed with color and texture, incorporating natural elements, geometric shapes, and even three-dimensional materials like string and papier-mâché to craft gritty, powerful statements. My work balances the beauty of the natural world with its raw, contrasting ugliness—a reflection of the Yin and Yang duality of my experience as an artist.
